Because the body’s own tissue deposits during this time, most patients achieve longer-term results.

PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy is a natural way to fight aging using growth factors in your blood to stimulate collagen growth. The procedure typically starts with a small vial of your own blood being drawn and then centrifuged to separate the PRP cells from other blood components. Your own PRP cells are then injected into the areas where you have aging concerns. PRP is commonly used to treat thinning and volume loss in the face, neck, and décolletage as well as fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles under the eyes, vertical lip lines, nasolabial folds, and acne scars. Results are typically evident 2-4 weeks after treatment. Commonly, we see that 1-3 treatments are necessary. PRP can also be combined with micro-needling.
